Otherwise, it's all castles, British dialects, a wet climate, and their neighboring country, Orlais, speaks with French accents and look down on Ferelden, beyond that is Antiva, a country with a warm climate where they speak with Spanish accents, there's a Holy Roman Empire, there's a Byzantium, there's a near-east, etc, etc. It's cold to the south and another culture lives there, considered to be more savage but isn't really (they're Picts, I guess), and I'll get to the second change soon.
